By Phac Le Tuan, Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach, Breathing Science Evangelist.
With six decades of passion-driven life experience deeply immersed in three different cultures, in Asia, Europe, and the US, I've spent most of my high-intensity high-tech career at a few Fortune 500 companies (Schlumberger, Apple...) and as a serial entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, most recently in digital health and fitness.
Instilled from early childhood by my Mom with the core concept of health as our most precious resource, I have always been an avid learner of tiny healthy habits, a well known concept in the Vietnamese culture where material resources were very scarce for most.
I have been fortunate to spend a lot of time in the South of France, enjoying local food before I knew it was at the core of the Mediterranean Diet, as well as many months in the South Pacific islands (Tahiti, New Caledonia, New Zealand...), learning to enjoy many different kinds of seafood recipes, and getting used to a wide variety of foods that are totally different from the food of my childhood.
A fervent and almost regular QiGong practitioner for the past 25 years, combined with standing meditation and advanced breathing exercises, I have realized how the practice has helped me to deconstruct my cravings and to train my tastebuds to deeply enjoy food and drink that are good for my body.
Introduced to the Course In Miracles about 20 years ago, I have been able to understand the lessons from the failure of my first marriage despite great professional success, and am now enjoying a constantly growing, wonderfully nurturing and empowering companionship with my second wife after 23 years together, with an abundance of blessings and resources, through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship with amazing teams, and a few business betrayals by shameless partners driven by greed at the expense of their own self-esteem.
Having maintained the same weight since my 20s, and feeling much stronger today than ever before (60+ diamond push-ups in one breath), I felt attracted to the teachings of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and, in the time of COVID-19, decided to train there as a Health Coach, graduating in September 2020.
With teaching and counseling as key parts of my strong suit, I want to share my lifelong lessons with people who also have a passion for life, have succeeded in pursuing single-minded goals, but are encountering now seemingly intractable hurdles to health and happiness ahead.
I am looking forward to working with you for the next chapter of your life.
