The Well-Being Compass™
Your readiness for a successful long and healthy life
This 5-minute scoring test will help you identify areas of imbalance within the 12 directions of your Well-Being Compass, and where your priorities for behavior change should be, to recover a full state of well-being.
If you feel the priorities identified by the Compass make sense to you, I urge you to sign up for an in-depth free Health History Assessment to see whether there's a program that would be a good fit for you.
Find out what contributes to your stress right now.
You have set ambitious goals for yourself before, and to a large extent, you may have already reached or even exceeded many of them. Yet, the stress you're dealing with is impacting your well-being in deep and maybe invisible ways, resulting in imbalance in many more areas than just your career or your finances.
For several decades, my personal research in wellness, fitness, and well-being has led me to study the teachings from Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the I Ching's Philosophy of Change, Joshua Rosenthal's Circle of Life, and others. One fundamental concept is that our overall well-being depends on much more than just our nutrition, and requires balance in bodily health, physical activity, and also on relationships, spirituality, and more, forming overall twelve fundamental areas.
Stress is affecting your well-being in a variety of forms: extra pounds around the waist, an unusual attraction to unhealthy food, recurring frictions in your closest relationships, a feeling that something's missing in your life, or something even deeper. Your type A personality makes you want to do something about it. You might even have a good idea of a few things you should do, and you have even tried to change habits, but it did not stick, and you are still unsure of where to start first.
The Well-Being Compass™ has been developed an extension to the Circle of Life, to assess what's out of balance in our lives, and also identify where to focus behavior change efforts, based on the relative importance we personally give to each of our twelve areas of well-being.
Please try the Well-Being Compass for free, and you will gain some insights into where to focus efforts to move towards full well-being. Such insights are a critical first step in helping you find the right match with a Health Coach.
